Tom Bowman. Full-time operator of Bowman Web Services LLC. Based in Port Orange, Florida. On the web since 2009 — originally because a vendor held one of my sites hostage and I decided no one was going to do that to me again. Now 15+ years of SEO and web work on top of 25 years of trades, construction, and self-employment before that.
The work has always been the same idea: owned simple infrastructure beats rented complex platforms, and operator knowledge accumulated through actual experience is the real competitive advantage. That’s the thing agencies can’t fake. That’s what the Volusia AI Network is built on.

The parent company
All five city sites are operated by Bowman Web Services LLC — a Florida limited liability company headquartered in Port Orange. BWS has been doing web design and SEO since 2009, and pivoted AI-first in 2025 once the tooling actually got good enough to deliver real production systems for small businesses, not just demos.
BWS is the parent of a 17-property web portfolio — five Volusia AI sites, a flagship agency site, and properties in travel, hospitality, content publishing, and consumer journalism. The Volusia AI Network is the local-AI vertical. BWS itself takes clients across Florida and beyond.

Every system on every city site runs on the same infrastructure:

That’s not a brochure stack — that’s the actual workflow. Every BWS property runs on it. Every Volusia AI city deployment runs on it.
Why no retainer model
The agency retainer is built on the assumption that you’ll keep paying after the deliverable is done. We don’t run that way. We deploy a system, we walk you through how it works, we hand you the keys, and we charge a flat deployment fee plus a small monthly for hosting, monitoring, and the AI usage costs that pass through.
If you want help expanding the system later, you call. If you want to leave, you leave — the systems we deploy are yours, not rented.
